Hi @DeepakRapeti,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're experiencing some frustrating issues with your HP Pavilion. The screen flickering could be caused by a variety of factors such as a loose connection, outdated graphics drivers, or even hardware malfunction. Similarly, the webcam not working might be due to driver issues or hardware problems.
Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot:
- Update Graphics Drivers: Outdated graphics drivers can often cause display issues. Try updating your graphics drivers to the latest version provided by HP's website.
- Check Connections: Ensure that all cables connecting your display are securely plugged in. Sometimes loose connections can cause flickering.
- Test in Safe Mode: Boot your laptop into Safe Mode and see if the issue persists. If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, it could indicate that a third-party application or driver is causing the problem.
- Run Hardware Diagnostics: HP laptops usually have built-in hardware diagnostic tools that can help identify any hardware issues. You can access these by pressing the appropriate key during startup (usually F2 or F10) and selecting the diagnostic option.
- Check Webcam Drivers: Similarly, ensure that your webcam drivers are up to date. You can find these on HP's website or through Windows Update.
- Scan for Malware: Sometimes malware can interfere with hardware components. Run a full system scan using your antivirus software to check for any malicious programs.
- Reset BIOS Settings: If you're comfortable, you can try resetting your BIOS settings to default. Sometimes incorrect BIOS settings can cause display issues.
Remember to back up any important data before attempting any major troubleshooting steps.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
