HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-eu0000 (267R4AV)

I recently purchased an hp envy x360 laptop, and ever since yesterday when I accidentally tilted the screen sideways while playing a game, the display now only shows that game as a smaller window and it won't let me go to full screen. I tried troubleshooting it and shutting off my laptop several times but nothing worked.

Hi @Longjohn1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP ENVY X360 15.6 notebook PC. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

To assist better:

  • Does the screen work fine on all other applications?
  • Have you tried to change the display settings on that particular game?

While you respond to that, please go ahead and check the display settings on the Notebook PC.

Change Screen Resolution

  1. From your desktop, right-click and select Display Settings.
  2. Select the Advanced display settings option at the bottom of the menu.
  3. Adjust your screen resolution to 1024 x 768 and click Apply.
  4. Try playing your game again.

If the issue persists, then please update the BIOS and Graphic Drivers from this Link.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
