HP ENVY - 17-ae120nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I use this laptop for my photography: editing my RAW files in both Lightroom and Photoshop.

The problem I have is that the white color on the monitor is too bright. It doesn't show the differences in real white until light grey. Especially for Studio Photography with a white background it's important to see those small differences as they will be seen when you print a photo.

So the problem is not to get the total monitor/screen brighter, but only to see more differences in the whites (distortion?). As on other screens (laptops and phones) it's visable.

Thank you for the respons!

Welcome to HP Support Community

Do you have this issue only when using Photoshop?

Please try connecting an external monitor if you have and let me know if you face the same problem on the external monitor or TV

Thank you 😊
