I have a brand-new HP Spectre x360 14. The gray colors appear pink on both the laptop display and my external monitor. I have an older HP Spectre that does not have this problem. Is there a setting I need to get the display to show colors correctly?

Hi @eileenteach,
I'd like to help!
I understand the gray appears pink on the computer screen.
Try the below suggestions
Perform updates-
Step 1 Windows Updates -
1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates -
1) In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Also, try updating the BIOS. Refer to this document for steps - HP Consumer Notebook PCs - Updating the BIOS (Basic Input Output System)
Check if the issue occurs in the bios screen
Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the f10 key to enter the BIOS Setup menu.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

This might not be your issue because mine does not show up on an external monitor.
Check if Windows 11 night light is on? (open settings and search for night light) Mine was on and scheduled. I don't remember turning it on, might be a default in Windows 11. The intensity was set to 50% which also makes me think I didn't set it because that makes the screen very pink.
