Hi,

Tried HDMI - DPI cable , but that did not work.

Should I try USB-C DPI then?

@Jami5

Does your HDMI - DP cable work BOTH ways ? It is much better to use USB-C to USB-C (if available) or USB-C to DP

Regards.

The specs of your machine is

          https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06687618

It has

  • 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (DisplayPort™ 1.4);
  • 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate (HP Sleep and Charge);
  • 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate;
  • 1 HDMI 2.0;
  • 1 RJ-45;
  • 1 AC smart pin;
  • 1 headphone/microphone combo

It does NOT have any Display port.  How do you connect it to a monitor ? Using USB-C to DP cable ? Is it a compatible cable ?

Regards.

Hi!

Yes HDMI should be workable both ways.

I'll try the USB-C DPI option next! Thanks for the  help... 🙂
