@Harsh204, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Update Graphics Drivers (Intel + NVIDIA)
Go to HP Support Assistant and update everything listed.
Also manually check both:
Intel Driver & Support Assistant
Disable Startup Apps (Just to Test)
Sometimes third-party apps start too early and cause visual overlays:
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
Go to Startup tab.
Disable anything non-essential (e.g., Discord, Xbox, etc.).
Restart and observe if the issue persists.
Check for Display Artifacting
Try connecting to an external monitor via HDMI or USB-C.
If the same glitch appears there → GPU/software issue.
If not → It's likely your laptop's built-in display.
Run HP UEFI Hardware Diagnostics
Shut down the laptop.
Tap Esc repeatedly, then F2 for Diagnostics Menu.
Run Display Test and System Test.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
