This concerns my HP laptop
During a long Zoom session, and after 4.5 hours, the screen started flickering, with flashes, the windows were
scrambled and black stripes appeared. It seemed at the moment that using the touch-screen mouse was making things worse.
I stopped the meeting and after a few hours the screen went back to normal.
Does this signify a major flaw?

I reviewed your post and I understand that display went black after a long zoom meeting.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
As you have mentioned that the computer is working fine after that, it doesn’t seem to be an issue. This might have happened due to overheating as zoom video meetings usually use a lot of resources.
However, I recommend you install all the Windows updates and test.
Here is how it is done.
- Select the Start (Windows) button from the bottom-left corner.
- Go to settings (gear icon).
- Select the Update and Security icon.
- Choose Windows Update tab in the sidebar (Circular arrows)
- Select Check for updates. If there is an available update, it will begin downloading automatically.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

thank you; it turned out Windows was up to date;
I plan to have some new Zoom meetings in the following days and see how it goes.
But thanks for your advice,
Demos
