HP Notebook - 14-bp045tx
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, guys. I need help with my display resolution. It's stuck at 1366*768. Is there a way to upgrade it to 1920*1080?

@Precious500, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Upgrading Display Resolution!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

For the HP Notebook - 14-bp045tx, the screen resolution is dependent on the hardware capabilities of the display panel installed. If your current display panel supports a maximum resolution of 1366x768, you cannot increase this resolution through software settings alone, as it is a limitation of the hardware.

If you are looking to achieve a higher resolution, such as 1920x1080, you would need to physically replace the display panel with one that supports the desired resolution. This process would typically involve:

Checking Compatibility: Ensure that your device's motherboard and graphics card can support a higher resolution.

Finding a Compatible Display Panel:

  • Research compatible display panels that support 1920x1080 resolution and are compatible with your model's specifications.
  • Verify with HP support or a certified technician for compatible parts.

Installation:

  • You may need to contact an authorized service technician to have the new panel installed, or you can refer to the product's service manual if you are experienced with hardware upgrades.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
