Hi @PAUL1307,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Reset Printer to Factory Settings:

Refer to the steps on this link to restore factory defaults.

  • Confirm the reset process. This will revert the printer settings to their original state, including language selections.

Access Language Settings via HP Smart App:

  • If resetting doesn't work, use the HP Smart app to change the printer’s language and location:
    • Download and install the HP Smart app from the App Store if you haven't already.
    • Open the HP Smart app and connect your printer.
    • Navigate to Advanced Settings or Printer Settings within the app.
    • Change the language and location settings from here.

Firmware Update:

Kindly refer to this link to update your printer firmware.

Manual Language Change:

  • Some printers have a specific menu location for language settings. Try the following sequence (this might vary slightly based on firmware):
    • Touch the Setup button on the printer's control panel.
    • Select Language.
    • Scroll through the menu to find English and select it.

I hope this helps.
