HP 24m 23.8-inch Display

Hi I have a problem with my Hp24m display
After about a few hours that I have the display on during any procedure that I do even if I am writing on word, the display turns off and to make it turn on I have to remove and put the power plug behind the display and at this point it turns on again.
This type of problem does it continuously so much that I had to change the display. Do you think it is the power supply?

Hi @giuseppe741

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like your HP 24m display might be experiencing a power supply issue or overheating.

Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:

Check Power Connections:

  • Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the display and the outlet.
  • Try using a different power cable or outlet to rule out any issues with the current setup.

Inspect for Overheating:

  • Make sure the display has proper ventilation and isn't placed in a confined space.
  • If overheating is suspected, turn off the display for a while and let it cool down before turning it back on.

Update Firmware and Drivers:

  • Visit the HP Support website to check for any firmware or driver updates for your display model.

Factory Reset:

  • Perform a factory reset on the display through its settings menu. This can help resolve software-related issues.

If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
