Product: HP EliteBook 840 G6 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have a HP USB-C/A Universal Dock G2. Many times a day and seemingly randomly the monitors connected to it will go all white and become unusable. The only way to fix this is to unplug the dock for 30 secs and plug it back it. I have updated the dock firmware and tried different DisplayLink drivers and nothing works. Some times this error is logged in the System Event log:
The device HP USB-C Universal Docking Station is offline due to a user-mode driver crash.
