EliteBook 840 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

My current laptop is a HP EliteBook 840 G1  /   [edit]

This Laptop doesnt have a HDMI port. I decided to order a HP Displayport to HDMI adapter.

Prior to this laptop I had a HP Pavilion G6 2017SP, and was used to conect it to a big screen. Now, the new laptop (840 G1) with the adapter, same HDMI cable, same screen, nothing happens. I select "expand", "duplicate" or "second screen only" and nothing is send to the big screen.

Also I noticed in the adapter there is a sort of a button with the displayport logo, is that button supposed to do something?

Any Ideas how to make this work?

Thanks!
