I recently received this as a gift and I'm an artist who wants to try this device as a 'drawing tablet' even though it might not be as good as an actual display screen. But I'm having difficulty finding a pen for this device as it is not usually mentioned in descriptions for pens(but other hp envy models are) I've asked the sellers if it's compatible, but they all said it's not suitable. But most of them have MPP 2.0 protocol, so I'm wondering if this might work with those?

I was actually planning on buying a third party pen from an online shop that is more affordable and available in my area, I was wondering if any pens that have an MPP 2.0 protocol will be compatible with my device?

@angstym0chi, That’s a great question—I'm glad to hear you're exploring creative options with your HP Envy x360!
While the HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen is designed to work seamlessly with your device and will give you the best experience in terms of pressure sensitivity and tilt support, I can only recommend HP products for guaranteed compatibility and performance. Third-party pens with MPP 2.0 protocol might work, but since they're not tested or certified by HP, I can’t promise they’ll deliver the same smooth experience.
Let me know if you need more help—happy to assist! 🎨😊
Take care, and happy drawing!
