I have an HP docking station. I have two Acer monitors. One has HDMI and VGA hook ups.  The other Acer has HDMI and Port Station connect. Why can't I get the docking station to recognize my Acer connected with PS connection? Or why can't I get my Acer to recognize my docking station? Remember...the docking station only has two SP connections and one VGA connection.

What is your HP Elitebook  and what is your dock ? Are they compatible ? I'm using HP USB-C G5 dock and HP Elitebook 840 G5 right now. I tested with 3 external FHD  monitors, no problem..

The dock must be very old. It is not on the following list
