I have sold 20 notebooks to a client who later wanted docking stations, tried Hp Dock G5, Hp mini dock, Tarsus dock etc...no external display works with any of the dock...I'm so frustrated and seems like everyone has dame issue but HP is coming to the show!!!

That model line is rather old technology and only has USB 3.0 ports for use with docking stations. It appears this Plugable USB 3.0 Universal Laptop Docking Station might work. Only way to know is try it out. It claims to fill the bill on the listing.
Most of the newer docking stations are USB-C
I'm not an HP employee.
