HP ZBook 15 G3 + Dock with Thunderbolt 3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello all,

I have a HP ZBook 15 G3 (P/N: M9R63AV) connected to 2 external HP monitors via HP ZBook Dock with Thunderbolt 3,

Problem:

After waking up from sleep, the 2 external monitors are lost.

After Windows restart, everything works fine.

I updated everything from https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-zbook-dock-with-thunderbolt-3/11122586

Additional info:

After wake-up, the dockig station is working for sure, because I have an external keyboard attached to it through a USB WiFi stick and it's working.

In Windows Display Settings, when I click on the "Detect" button the result is:

"Didn't detect another display"

After wake-up: Turning off-on or pluggin off-in the monitors from the dock did not help.

After wake-up: disconnecting and reconnecting the dock from the laptop did no help.

Anyone to help, please?

Regards

(I have searched through the forum but could not find any solution...)

I found the resolution.

I had to update and make my NVidia driver work.

The problem was that Windows disabled the NVidia driver because of its signature problems (don't know why it had invalid signature...)

After I updated the driver and it had valid signature everything went back to normal.
