Hello,
I am looking For a Docking station for an HP Pavilion 15-cs3153cl laptop. I want to hook up a single HP monitor with built in webcam, keyboard, and mouse. Can anyone help direct me to a compatible docking station that will work. Need one ASAP.

Hi K_Spaz. I just bought the same laptop and I also need a docking station but it doesn’t appear the USB-C port on this model supports power delivery and video output which are prerequisites for a docking station. I found the following spec sheet and if you look under the “External notebook ports” section (second page on left side), it states that the USB-C port supports “Data transfer only”. Disappointing to say the least and I don’t understand why this isn’t a standard on all laptops.

Not that I know of. Only USB-C ports are able to natively send video signals (regular USB ports cannot) and with this model it's not setup to do so. You could get an HDMI splitter (like a 1x4 duplicator) and connect any HDMI devices you might have that way.
Here's an example of a splitter:
You could also get a USB to HDMI or VGA adapter but my experience with them has been less than satisfactory because they require special software drivers and they are glitchy but then I am cheap and won't usually buy the more expensive ones.
In my case, I have an older 17" monitor that is VGA only so I am going to get an HDMI to VGA converter and hook it up that way so I at least have an external monitor. Good luck and I hope you find something that works for you.
