Docking station

I have been trying to use a docking station with my laptop.  I can't seem to get it to work with the docking station.  Does the 17-by3xxx support docking stations and dual displays?

What EXACTLY is your 17-by3xxx  ? For example

             HP Laptop - 17-by3053cl

Your machine could be very close which says it ONLY has

• 2 SuperSpeed USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate;
• 1 USB 2.0 Type-A;
• 1 RJ-45;
• 1 AC smart pin;
• 1 HDMI 1.4b;
• 1 headphone/microphone combo

If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors (and notebook monitor - total 3), please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few USB-A DisplayLink Certified options on market today including some HP products (you can select HP before Search)
