I recently purchased a HP Laptop 17-cn2070cl (ProdID 8L5Y2UA#ABA).
I am trying to connect TWO external monitors to this system.
I can connect one monitor via the HDMI port.
I tried to use the USB-C port to connect a docking station but subsequently discovered that the USB-C on this computer does not support additional monitors.
How about the standard USB-A port to a docking station - will that work?
Other alternatives?
Thank you in advance!

I can't find its FULL specs from HP, only from some retailers but they do not supply FULL specs. Your machine should have SAME ports as the following machine
It ONLY has 1 hopeless USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (supports data transfer only and does not support charging or external monitors) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only-total 3), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
Other option (USB-A dock) : https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05357751
