HP Laptop 15-Da0032wm (Notebook)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
My notebook's screen bezel and panel is broken. (Must be replaced)

Here is the spec of the display panel: 15.6" diagonal HD SVA BrightView micro-edge WLED-backlit (1366 x 768)

My notebook's product number: 4AK77UA (incase needed)

I was wondering if I could replace it with 1080p screen.

Will my notebook support it?

  • if so, which model and how about performance issue provided that I will boost my memory with extra (new) 8GB?
  • if not, which model of 768p should I buy?

Little help here! Thanks:)

  • And, also HP does not recommend to use parts which is not intended for the particular model as they are not tested by HP and may not be accurate.
  • I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/

Yeah, I thought to visit one of the hp support centres. And the nearest is far away and dangerous due to the pandemic.

So, I plan to replace it myself. I can handle it, no pressure.

But, I need the 1080p model if it supports. If it does not support, I am planning to buy the 768p model.

Here, I want to be sure if the 1080p is compatible with my notebook.

Please check the compatibility of my notebook!

  • HP does not recommend upgrading or downgrading hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product as It may affect the performance, however, you could change the configuration at your own discretion.
