HP Elitebook 840 G3
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Im Trying to connect external displays to a HP elitebook 840 G3 via a Dell Dock WD15. This docking station connects to the laptop via USB-C. I got the external displays working on a Dell Laptop, but cant seem to get it working on the HP 840? so i was wondering if this USB-C port supports display, or only charging.

For Clarification i looked up the Laptop specs and it has a USB Basic Type-C.

TIA

It should say Alternative Mode Support for a display to work:

People are using their precious remaining lifetime to try and help, so it is common courtesy to come back and tell what the solution eventually was even if you found it elsewhere. It is for the benefit of everyone.
