I am wanting to connect my HP Pro Book 640 G2 to a pair of Xreal Air AR smart glasses to be used as a display.  I need to know if the usb-c port on my computer is for charging only, or if it contains video information for the glasses?  Also, this computer has a Display Port video out and I purchased a Display Port to HDMI adapter to connect to my HDMI monitor but it didn't recognize another display being connected.  I assumed the Display Port was defective, but I saw a post on here that said Display Port is not compatible with HDMI.  That didn't make sense to me because every display I have only has HDMI and this laptop does not have HDMI, so can anyone tell me how I'm supposed to connect a (HDMI) display to this?  Thanks!  Greg

Its USB-C port is for charging only.

Please use bidirectional HDMI to DP cable.
