Thank you for replying with this detailed response 😉

I appreciate your time and efforts,

Yes, you are right, if the issue persists with an alternate device as well,

It has to be a defective adapter and I recommend you have it replaced,

I hope you have a good day ahead,

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

As I understand you want a driver for the HP Micro USB to VGA/HDMI connector,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

Did you know that the Micro USB port requires OTG for this to work?

There are no drivers needed or available for this setup,

For more instruction on using it: Click here to watch a 3rd party Youtube video I found that should help you with the setup.

(The above link is 3rd party and is not owned by HP, I've posted this only so that I may help you resolve this issue by going beyond by support boundaries, please ignore the ads and take only the free suggestions)

Keep me posted,

If the information I've provided was helpful,

Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

That'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Good Luck.

Hi,

my intention was to have connected the adapter to the Notebook to have two displays at once. But the adapter isn't recognized as an USB device. That's why I thought to need a driver. OK but I tested it acording the video with an Android Mobile but still the device is not recognized and the display remains black. May be the adapter is defect. Nevertheless thanks for your help.
