Windows Hello facial recognition does not work, so I have downloaded the HP IR camera driver for my model from the HP website, but in the device manager sometimes the HP IR camera line appears and other times it is not there. When displaying the camera, this line disappears and when trying to configure Windows Hello, it gives an error because the camera cannot be activated. Sometimes the camera image does appear in the Windows Hello settings but not the frame to identify the face, so it cannot be configured. Could I try to solve the problem by downloading a generic HP or non-HP IR driver, not specific to my model? Thank you so much

The first question: Does your machine have an IR camera ?  What is it ? I can NOT read your text properly.

Regards.

Yes, I have a compatible IR camera. My PC is HP ENVY Todo-en-Uno - 27-b171ns and the camera is integrated into the monitor. It is HP TrueVision HD IR. It is hidden into the monitor, and I puss it for using. The facial recognition worked some months ago but now it not possible to configure properly. Thanks.
