Hi,

unfortunately after a reset of my HP Pavilion 15-ab112nl, I can't find the right driver to configure video and processor in the right way.

On HP website there are not drivers for my PC and on AMD site I can't find the processor drivers.

Now I installed with success (after many tentatives) the video Drivers Adrenaline June 2022, but after restart I'm again in the same condition.

Please can you help me in some way?

Finally SOLVED with SP72773!

I keep the driver to another website:

https://driverscollection.com/?V=HP&S=43&hpage=195

searching for a similar model, and I see that Hardware ID was supported by the driver! I did another reset to win10, without internet I installed the driver but the installation was not completed, interrupted by a blu screen. After reboot i tried again and this time i had success!!!!

In any case you can also download from FTP.hp.com in the way you have described 😉 I tried and it's the same!

Thank you very much!!!!!

Hi:

It seems like HP is busy retiring support for PC's more than 10 years old, which apparently is their policy.

This is the HP AMD graphics driver that HP used to have on your notebook's support page.

Driver Info link:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp75501-76000/sp75760.html

Driver exe link:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp75501-76000/sp75760.exe

For the processor/motherboard, you can use the AMD chipset drivers from the link below...select the W10 64-bit option, first file listed of the two.

Thank You Paul, I tried to reinstall from scratch Win10 in order to have a clean start, i have not connected the system to internet in order to install my drivers from USB, but It seems another model driver.

Now I have installed the AMD Radeon R8 M365DX drivers, but It doesn't works properly.

If I provide you the serial Number of my PC, can you access tò the old drivers provided by HP?

The serial is 5CD55070Z7

If you try to search It on HP support site you can see that It Mounts an AMD A10 Extreme Edition R8 with a dedicated Video card (R7 M360).

Thank you in advance for your kindly support!

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, there is no way to find any drivers based on the serial number of the PC.

You are probably going to have to check on a 3rd party website for graphics drivers.

The file I posted does not have a driver for the R8 M360 GPU.

It only has the driver for the R7 M360 GPU.

It does have the same support as the driver you installed -- R8 M365DX

If such a driver exists, I would need to know the HP sp file number in order to hunt it down and without that I am dead in the water now that HP has removed driver support for the model series.

Hi Paul, thanks in any case,

But just to know, how you have identified the precipua SPXXXXX files that you sent me on the FTP.hp website?

Maybe I can do the same. I'm also checking on third part websites where I see that they have collected a lot of model of HP assets, maybe do you have any other suggestion for me:

You're very welcome.

When you know what the sp file number is that you need (I don't know how you will since the one I gave you is the only one that I know of), you have to explore dozens of driver pages that still work.  I use the HP business class notebooks.

Then you have to find a sp file number that closely matches the one you are looking for.

Then copy the link to that driver to notepad and change the file number to the one you need.

For example, the sp75760 file I gave you has to be within the range of sp75501-76000 so it downloads from the FTP site.

I found that file by referring to this discussion, found a HP notebook that had driver files within that range.

Solved: AMD Radeon Display Driver - 2 avail. Which is the correct on... - HP Support Community - 830...

I tried to find sp134379.exe and gave up.

So basically, if you want to find the much newer sp134379 file you will have to find a HP notebook or desktop driver page that has a driver with a sp file number close enough to that range where you can change the value.

It could be a file with a number that begins with sp134001 and end with sp134500 for example.

Personally, I don't think the newer file will work because the person in that discussion has the R7 graphics, not the R8.

That is great news, and thanks for providing the file number.

Here is the driver from the HP FTP site you used, as well as the info link which I am posting for other forum members that may have the same problem that shows driver support for the AMD A10 processor.

It didn't take me too long to hunt it down-- maybe 10 minutes or so.
