Hi @TammyBC,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand that you would like to update your camera drivers for compatibility with Windows 11 on your HP laptop, follow these steps to ensure you have the latest drivers installed:

Use Windows Update

  • In Windows, search for and open Check for updates.
  • If there are any available updates, they will begin to download automatically. This might include driver updates for your camera.
  • If there are optional updates, select Advanced options > Optional updates, choose the updates that you want to install, and then click Download & install.
  • After the updates install, restart your computer when prompted.

Update Drivers via Device Manager

  • In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.
  • In the list of devices, expand the Imaging devices to find your camera.
  • Right-click the device and select Update driver.
  • Click Search automatically for drivers, and then follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Restart your computer to complete the installation.

If your camera cannot be found under Imaging devices, try selecting the Action menu in Device Manager and then Scan for hardware changes.

Use HP Support Assistant

  • Search for and open HP Support Assistant on your PC. This tool helps in finding driver updates for HP devices.
  • Go to the My Dashboard tab, find your listed device, and check for updates.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install any available updates.
  • Restart your computer if prompted.
