How do I connect two external monitors?  I have tried a USB C hub but the monitor is not detected.  Apparently the c port is for data transfer only.  I have now ordered a USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter but now I see my USB 3.0 is only for data transfer as well so I don't have much faith that it will work when it comes in.  Please help.

The specs of your machine is

    https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06316784

which shows it has

1 HDMI 1.4b;

1 headphone/microphone combo;

1 RJ-45; 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Data transfer only);

1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate);

1 AC smart pin

As you can see, USB-C port does not support video out.

If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors, please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few options on market today including some HP products:

Banhien,

Thank you for the response.  Will a USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter work?  It looks like my USB 3.0 is for data transfer only so I am assuming it will not.

Can you give me some specific devices that will allow dual external monitors for my machine?
