I purchased an HP 22cwa monitor for a 2nd screen to my HP laptop. I am using a HMDI cord and a UBS converter to plug it into my HP Spectre laptop. The screen on the additiona monitor goes balck about every 30 seconds or so. It is driving me crazy. Please help! 🙂 THANK YOU!

What is your computer and what is your HMDI cord and a UBS converter ? Without 2 crucial information we won't be able to help. Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).
Regards.

Hello, my laptop is an HP Spectre.
I connected the HMDMI cord with the HP USB-C to HDMI Adaptor.
The USB converter came with my laptop.
The monitor is an HP 22cwa. I'm simply useing the dual monitors to read emails and use Word and Excel.
The HDMI cord does not have a brand name on it.
Please advise. Thank you, Karen
