Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, I have a dual monitor setup through the Alogic MV2 USB-C Dual Display DP Alt Mode Docking Station. After my laptop has gone to sleep, the monitors don't display anything again, until I unplug the dock from my laptop, unplug the 2 x HDMI's from my dock, reconnect the dock to my laptop, then plug in the 2 x HDMI's again.

I have tried my docking setup with 2 different laptops, and both of those work fine, so it seems to be a laptop issue.

Through the "HP Support Assistant" program it says I have installed all the most recent drivers. When I go to the web version of HP Support Assistant however, it says I have a number of drivers that need to be updated. When I try to update them from browser it doesn't work.

What is your 15-fa0000 (599K0AV) machine ? I believe it has 1 USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port and it requires 200 W Smart AC power adapter.

All I can say is your Alogic MV2 USB-C is NOT compatible with your machine.

Regards.

Hi @banhien

What about those details means it's not compatible? Do you have a recommendation for a dock that would be compatible? Or a specific thing I need to check to ensure compatibility?

Thanks

1. Did you check compatible from HP ? None available isn't it.

2. I have not tested machines with only have 5Gps USB-C port.

3.  One thing to look at

1. Yes I tried to check if it was compatible, but didn't see compatibility listed anywhere for docking stations. What do you mean by "none available isn't it"?

2. Are you saying that I just need to physically try a different dock and hope it works?

3. I have read that article, but it doesn't help as I can't find the specific compatibiltiy information that I'm looking for.
