Hi,

Thank for explaining the concern clearly, I have exact same problem on HP pavilion X360 14dh1025tx which I bought 10 days back. I tried enabling/disabling ELAN driver and restarting the system multiple times but the power state remains in D3, no luck. Have been following up with HP support from quite sometime now. Will try to explain the concern again and see if it helps.

If anyone knows of a way to change the state from D3 to D0, please share.

Thanks,

Arpan

I seem to have exactly the same problem with my Hp envy convertible x360 15-dr0048nb.

I would love to see a solution to it other then getting a new laptop.

Hi Robbe_Brants and Arpan,

Unfortunately this problem did not resolve by a software update for me - I've tried all sorts of update/disable/enable to my frustration for about a month.

Looking back I now think the issue stems from a power supply hardware issue although I am not sure what exactly (might be something as simple as the cords supplying the screen not being connect properly/loose connection somewhere but who knows...) - because I'd get the touchscreen function working completely normal sometimes, and other times it would go offline completely without me doing anything as if it did not exist at all with the errors shown in the screenshots. It'd be working then on the next reboot it's gone.

If your laptop is still within the warranty period I'd suggest going back to HP and getting the screen replaced.

Kind regards,

Chen
