Hi.
On 2/15, I opened my laptop and quickly realized that when I moved my touchpad, the arrow would scroll in a different direction than I intended. After some time, I came to the conclusion that I suddenly had inverted controls.
If I moved the touchpad left, the arrow would go down. If I moved it right, the arrow goes up. If I moved the touchpad up, the arrow goes left, and if I move it down, the arrow goes right.
I do not remembering making any changes or updates to my laptop prior to this incident, and trying to do basic tasks has now become much more irritating for me than it should. I would really appreciate some help with this.
Here are some of my specs if it makes it easier for anyone:
My Mouse Driver: ELAN Clickpad (Version 21.2.17.1)
My Laptop Age: Had it since 2018, so it’s possible that my warranty has expired.
