Product: HP EliteBook 840 G3 Base Model Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

All of a sudden after booting which starts up correctly with all the lights showing on the keyboard and the fan running - screen remains black - tried various fixes with no luck - also no longer charging - is this a battery problem? Charger only now acting as a power lead. Lots of possible fixes on you tube but I don’t want to do anything to make it worse - can anyone help me please?

Hi thanks very much for this. I appreciate it  but I’ve tried all the steps I can apart on there apart from the diagnostics as I have nothing on screen to be able to carry those out, thanks again though for taking the time to send me this.its truly appreciated Regards
