HP ENVY - 13t-aq000 CTO

Hi, I have an HP Envy 13” laptop.  Quite recently I noticed that the lid was somehow separated from the main body around a hinged part on the right hand side corner. The laptop itself still works but it cannot be properly closed/opened because of a broken, displaced hinge. No damage to the display though. It’s already out of warranty. Please advise me about what to do to fix this problem. Thank you.

Hi Gayle,

Thank you so much for your help. I was trying to create a case number but I couldn’t. I signed in and chose “My device” without entering the product number because there was no field to enter it but only option was to choose my device. Then there is no way to proceed to Step 4 and 5 so I couldn’t get a case number. Is there any other way to get that number? Thank you so much in advance!

Hi Elohi, thanks for your reply. A problem here is that I couldn’t receive any private message from anyone. I can see the private message icon on the right upper corner but nothing is there. I got messages from Gayla but at that time too I couldn’t receive private messages. If you know how to fix please let me know. Thanks!
