Envy x360 video call freezing...

The video freezes for about a second every few minutes then catches up. I've checked my internet speed, that's fine and I tried a zoom call at work and had the same problem there. I'm also able to use other, older laptops for video calls with no problem. The IT guy at work told me it's the laptop not my internet, that I should ask here if there's a solution other than returning the laptop... 

Has anyone had this issue and been able to resolve it?

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP ENVY x360 Notebook Video call freezes.  

I have a few recommendations 

• Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
• Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date. 
• Try with different app or browsers and check if it works.
