HP Pavilion G4-1114tx
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

I'm having problems with my graphics card driver installed. I do have an Intel HD 3000 and  AMD Radeon 6470m.

These are the drivers I've installed found in here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-g4-Notebook-PC-series/5082220/model/510...

Chipset:

Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver  9.2.0.1015 Rev. - Installed successfully

Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver 7.0.0.1144 Rev. - Installed successfully

Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver 6.0.0.1179 Rev. - Error in installation: "Does not meet the requirements..."

Graphics:

AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver 8.882.2.0 Rev. - After restart, the Windows stops in the logo or will automatically restart when in the login screen.

AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver 8.810.4.5000 Rev. - Installed successfully

Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver 8.15.10.2559 - Error in installation: "Does not meet the requirements..."

I did try running the installers as Admin but still the problem occurs.

Need help please.

Thanks!

@Jerenn

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

Flower_Bud is at your service.

As I understand, you're in need of support,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

Have you tried installing drivers from the HP Support Assistant?

Does the issue persists after you install Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver 7.0.0.1144 Rev. and AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver 8.810.4.5000 Rev.?

Let's try installing drivers from HP Support Assistant:

  • To open HP Support Assistant, double-click the HP Support Assistant icon .
  • Click My devices to see My PC. In this box, there are two options, Updates and Messages, both of which could require attention. You know attention is required if you see an exclamation mark.
  • Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
  • Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

  • Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.

  • Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

If the issue persists, you could also install the drivers directly from Intel or AMD website. You could download the Autodetect tool from the manufacturer's website, which will install graphics drivers which are compatible with your notebook.

Let me know how this goes,

Cheers!

Hi,

I've already tried installing Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver 7.0.0.1144 Rev. and AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver 8.810.4.5000 Rev.. The problem after this two are installed is that when  I install the intel hd driver, the windows will go in a blue screen after restarting the notebook. I will try HP Support Assistant and  the Autodetect tools of amd and intel next.

Thank!

Hi,

I've already tried the HP support but unfortunately  it does not detect my graphics driver. I've already tried the AMD auto detect but after it install the driver and then when the notebook restart, blue screen appears.
