Pavillion All In One
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This post relates to ones back in 2017-19. Just happened to me. When it goes to sleep, and then I wake it up, my All In One Pavillion beeps loudly - 3 longer beeps followed by 4 quicker ones. I get Keyboard Error and Unsupported Adaptor appear in the "dos" screen. I unplug etc but it keeps happening. Then it will work. But when it sleeps, off we go again. This started after a power outage. I have changed the board it is in but didn't help. Disconnected keyboard - didn't help. Very annoying.

Any other ideas? Or ditch?

Thanks

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are getting an error with the keyboard and adaptor, follow these steps to fix the issue.

1. Go to Start, search for Device Manager, and open this result.

2. Expand batteries.

3. Right-click on the ACPI option (usually the 2nd option) and select delete or uninstall. Follow the prompts.

4. Shut down the computer.

5. Disconnect the charger.

6. Remove the battery. (only for removable battery)

7. Hold down the power button for 1 minute.

8. Insert the battery only. (only for removable battery)

9. Attempt to turn the battery on.

Let me know how it goes.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
