HP ENVY x360 13.3 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 13-bf0000 (552D4AV)

I recently bought a new laptop HP Envy x360 with intel core i5 processor and 16 GB RAM. I'm already a licensed user of Quick Heal Total Security Product version v24. I had installed my licensed Quick Heal antivirus software the first thing in my new laptop after uninstalling from my previous laptop. My new laptop was replaced within 10 days being declared as DOA or dead on arrival since its webcam was extremely slow and not functioning properly. When I was using my new laptop which was replaced 2 days ago, my webcam was working fine. The moment I re-installed Quick Heal and where webcam protection was switched on automatically, my laptop webcam stopped working and started giving same problems as the previous one. That is when I discovered it is Quick Heal and not the inbuilt webcam which is a problem. By allowing webcam protection my webcam stops working and becomes extremely slow, and when I turn it off it is back to normal again. None of the Microsoft or the HP technicians could figure this out which lead to replacement of my new laptop which was probably working fine. What is the solution to this since I webcam protection is important but I'm bound not to use it for smooth functioning of my in built webcam.

The solution is obvious -- uninstall Quick Heal and do not reinstall it.  Antivirus Software is notorious for causing issues with Windows and using one that is KNOW to cause issues with your computer is something you should not be doing.

 

IF this were mine, I would contact the Quick Heal vendor, describe the problems, and see if they are willing to work with me to run diagnostics and/or create logs they can use to figure out the  issue.

 

In the meantime, if you want your webcam to work, you have no choice than to not use Quick Heal.

 

We have no resources to diagnose or correct problems with non-HP software.
