HP ENVY 16 inch Laptop PC 16-h0000 (534C7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, I have an HP Envy 16-h, 64bit running Windows 11 Home. My problem is when i connect to an extended monitor when using apps such as Photoshop (and many more) the fonts etc are so large that the whole picture does not fit on the screen. If i change the settings to duplicate screens the picture fits on the screen as it should (almost). Even the screen saver on the extended display goes off the screen. I have tried all of the settings for font size, screen ratios etc but nothing solves the problem. I first encountered this problem when i bought a Dell running W11 and was told by the Tech guys (no guesses where i bought it) that it couldn't happen, until i took laptop and monitor into store and they tried it. They tried all the settings aetc and concluded faulty machine and refunded my money. I then tried a second Dell machine with the same results, maybe it was just Dell?. So i tried an HP, machine running W10. Perfect no issues. I bought this HP Envy directly from HP and low and behold exactly the same problem as the Dell. I have tried other monitors so its not that and i have tried different leads to no avail. I have tried HP help but they couldn't help and various independent software people. No one has come across the issue or has any idea what to do. SURELY i cant be the only one. Any help would be very gratefully received. Many thanks Simon
