I would like to extend my HP 17-CN1008CY laptop's display to 2 external monitors. I already plan to use the HDMI port. My lptop also has a "USB Type C SuperSpeed" port. Does this port support Alternate Display mode, such that I can use it to extend my display to a 2nd external monitor? If so, how? If not, how else can I extend my display to 2 external monitors?

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/rs-en/document/c07939705
It ONLY has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine
- Connect to an external monitor with / without hub/dock/adapter
If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors, please try
True Universal Docking Stations

I want to make sure I understand this part of your response - "cannot Connect to an external monitor with / without hub/dock/adapter".
Does this mean that the only way to connect the laptop to two external monitors is through a "docking station"? Is a "docking station" the same thing as a "dock" that you mentioned in your response? Can "docking stations" connect through the USB-C port? Will a docking station slow my computer down?
By the way, I visited the link below, but something must be wrong with their website, because it didn't show any options for universal docking stations.
