Hi HP Community,

I’m currently using an HP notebook for both development and content review work, and I've been noticing some color inconsistencies when connecting to an external monitor—especially when reviewing high-contrast visuals or bioscience-related imagery.

Since I’m working on a project called [edited link] color accuracy is quite important for the content I produce and review. On my built-in display everything looks sharp and well-balanced, but when I switch to my external monitor, the saturation seems off, and some details are lost in dark areas.

Has anyone else run into display calibration issues like this on HP laptops?

  • Is there any trusted calibration software or HP tool you'd recommend?

  • Could it be a driver issue or something with the HDMI output settings?

Any advice or tips would be really appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
David
