Product: HP ZBook 8 G1i 14 inch Mobile Workstation PC (B25DMAV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

It seems every other day have an issues with HP devices and external monitor connections, and reading some of the posts it is not me alone who suffers from this inconvenience. 
My issue is ZBook plugging into a Dasung 13KC monitor by USB-C....result = nothing. The hardware is not detected. I plug exactly same USB-C cable into other non-HP laptops and it works flawlessly. Even my son's Surface Laptop Go first generation from 2020 is just detected and works. 
The monitor connects over HDMI, but that is less than ideal when the Dasung 13KC (Dasung Paperlike 13K Color) supports touch input.
