HP Spectre x360 - 15t Touch Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Spectre x360 - 15t Touch Laptop with an HP Elite USB-C (PN 924850-001) docking station connected via USB-C. I have one of the display port 1.2 connections connected to an external Samsung UHD 4k monitor (U28E510). The Samsung monitor is capable of displaying a resolution of 3840 x 2160. I know this because I connected to another computer and the resolution was 3840 x 2160. When connected to the laptop and docking station, it only display's 2560 x 1440. I've updated the docking station drivers to the latest version from here. Any input or advise is welcomed. I would like to be able to use the native monitor resolution as that was the main reason I purchased this monitor.

I pressed teh 'Hi-Res' button on the dock before I turned the laptop on this time and I now have the 3840 x 2160 resolution that I was seeking. Why the 'Hi-Res' button is an option is beyond me. That's like the 'Turbo' button on a 386 or 486.
