Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP external monitor that I purchased recently at the same time as my HP ENVY 17t notebook.  I connected the two with an HDMI cable.  All worked well.  After about a month, the external display no longer received the notebook's display and the notebook cannot detect the external monitor.  I tried to connect the monitor to another notebook via HDMI cable and it worked.  I've run all the troubleshooters I can locate, but no success.  Any advice?  Thank you!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are not getting any display on the external monitor.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.
