I have an HP envy 13-ah0002la

I'm trying to connect an external monitor with a USB-C - HDMI cable, but the monitor is not being recognized at all.

It's like I haven't connected anything to the computer.

The monitor is working since I have text connected a gaming console to it.

 

I have gone through all these steps https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03327635 and still cannot get it working.

I can't find its specs in English, only

which says it has

 

1 combinación de auriculares y micrófono;

1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (transferencia de datos de hasta 5 Gb/s, DP1.2, HP Sleep and Charge);

2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (1 HP Sleep and Charge)

 

The blue port above does NOT support Alt mode therefore USB-C - HDMI cable won't work.
