HP-MT43

My work provides laptops (HP-MT43) for us to use that are based on a Halo Thin Client set up. These laptops do not have HDMI ports so we are provided what they call an HDMI Dongle (A cord to plug into the side that you can then hook an HDMI cord into).

When I connect an external monitor to the dongle I can use the external monitor for a second display. However, I'd like to hook up a second external montior using an HDMI splitter. To do this I plugged both HDMI cords from the monitors into the splitter, the splitter into the dongle and the dongle into the laptop. However, it doesn't seem to work.

The tech guys at work said they've heard that some people have used an HDMI splitter with the dongle to hook up external monitors but aren't sure how to get it to work. So I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone knows if this is a setting that needs changed or if there's only a specific HDMI splitter that works.

Other option is to use a docking station, but what docking stations are compatible with the HP-MT43 that don't cost $200???

The splitter will give you SAME contents on BOTH monitors. Please enter your requirement and it will find for you the one you need on market today including  some HP products:
