Hi,

about an envy 15 with i7-10750H and GTX1660 Ti, can an external display (HDMI or USB-C) run on the dedicated nvidia card?

Or is it forced to run on the integrated intel card?

Thanks!

@SZ21

You don't have different video jacks for the two different video chips in your laptop; instead, you have only one jack.

The external monitor will use whichever video chip is working at the time; you can't choose a particular chip for that monitor.
