I want to format my laptop but my laptop has a broken screen and display no longer works.. I want to see bios through my external monitor but nothing is displayed but everything else gets displayed....I just want to see my bios

Basically -- you can't. Why? Because the monitor jacks on your laptop won't work until Windows drivers are loaded and that does not happen until Windows boots. So, you can't use an external monitor as as replacement for the built-in screen.
