Hi All,
I have an HP Spectre X360 (2017) connected to a DELL SE2719H external monitor. I use a USB C adaptor to connect the two devices via HDMI since the laptop has no HDMI ports. This set up has been running smoothly for 2 years or more.
Today Morning I wake up and I find a "no HDMI signal from your device" error displaying on the monitor screen. I have a 2nd HDMI cable and I tried it but same issue. However, my monitor works fine when connected to my gaming console so it is not an issue with the HDMI cables or the monitor ports.
It could be an issue with my USB C adaptor, but I can connect multiple peripherals to the adaptor and they all work fine, so I don't think its an issue with the adaptor either. So could be an issue with my spectres display/graphic card settings but I don't know what to do. I run windows 11 and have intel integrated graphics (core i7 8th Gen).
Can someone please help me with this?
