My portable external monitor that I've been using for nearly a year just stopped working. It connects for power and signal through a usb-c port (standard usb-c to usb-c cable, no adapters) and has been plug-and-play since the day I got it. Today, when I plug it in the monitor powers up, says "no signal" and goes into power-save mode. The monitor works fine with other laptops; the problem is the computer. How do i troubleshoot the cause of the problem and fix it?
