So i read some of the posts regarding the lack of fps, and the possible solutions, and i try them all. Then i noticed the possibility of the power not beeing enough to mantain the fps's. So i tested playing the same games only with battery support, and it became stable like it never was with AC adapter.
So my ac adapter is "HP AC ADAPTER 65W ref: 854055-004", wich clearly is not capable of providing the power my laptop needs when playing the games i do and possible other demands that require more power. So im asking wich alternatives i do have to replace with something clearly more capable of providing such power.
I leave the other spect from the laptop in regard of the power:
Input:
19.5v/DC 3.33A .
The ac adapter converts:
100-240v to 19.5v AC 3.33A
My regards, and hope an answer soon!

Hi Vasco_Lopes,
So you've already tried adjusting all Windows power settings for plugged in? Have you also checked Edit power plan > Change advanced power settings? What about your NVIDIA control panel?
If you really wish to purchase a more powerful AC adapter, I did find a 90-W AC adapter (PFC, S-3P, 4.5-mm) in your computer's Maintenance and Service Guide. It uses HP Part number 710413-001.
You can also confirm whether the AC adapter is really at fault by conducting an AC adapter test in HP UEFI Diagnostics:
- Repeatedly press Esc upon startup
- Select F2
- Select components
- Select AC adapter
If it is actually faulty, you can contact HP for a replacement.
Contact HP Worldwide here: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html
Check warranty status here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
I can't assure you that purchasing the AC adapter will solve your issue.
Hope this helps,

You can also confirm whether the AC adapter is really at fault by conducting an AC adapter test in HP UEFI Diagnostics:
- Repeatedly press Esc upon startup
- Select F2
- Select components
- Select AC adapter", and check if it is a fault or not, if it is the store where i baught the laptop should be held acounted for replacement, if it not faulty then i will try to aquire the AC adaptor that you sugested and for wich i say thanks... So i tested what you said with the:"You can also confirm whether the AC adapter is really at fault by conducting an AC adapter test in HP UEFI Diagnostics", and all was ok and working... So it's a working ac adapter, wich forces me to acquire a new one more powerfull then...So ty for all your help!
Cheers from Portugal!

@perfectofcwrote:Make sure you have updated your BIOS to the latest version. There is a known issue with older versions and the Pavilion CK series which causes FPS drops when on AC power.
